The libusbd-nt.exe process is an executable file that is associated with the libusb USB library 0.1 module, which is an applet that is bundled with widely used versions of Microsoft Windows, such as Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Also known as libusb-win32, the libusbd-nt.exe process serves as the executable file of the libusb-win32 component of the libusb USB library 0.1 module. This means the libusbd-nt.exe process is activated by the libusb USB Library 0.1 module or the Windows system itself when the libusb-win32 component needs to be used or referenced. The libusbd-nt.exe process contains program logic data that is comprised of sequential command lines, application directives and modular system resource references encoded with source code compialtion specifications and compressed with data storage standards normally integrated into content stored in the EXE file format.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. libusbd-nt.exe. is used by libusb-win32 and libusb USB Library 0.1 and Microsoft Windows, If you shut down libusbd-nt.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop libusbd-nt.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is libusb-win32 and libusb USB Library 0.1 and Microsoft Windows, from your system.

The first thing you should do if libusbd-nt.exe. is causing errors on your computer is to run a Windows registry scan with Registry Reviver If you are still seeing errors after this you should uninstall the program that libusbd-nt.exe, belongs to, in this case libusb-win32 and libusb USB Library 0.1 and Microsoft Windows
