The lcfep.exe process is an executable file that belongs to the other files and modules implemented by the SAP Cybase Adaptive Server Enterprise software, which is a relational database management application that is designed to provide local and remote networks with a robust transactional database development tool that can allow system administrators to create database systems and securely organize or manage data transmissions between client computers and host servers among other network maintenance and monitoring activities. The lcfep.exe process initiates communications between the user, the system and certain components or applets of the SAP Cybase ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise) software. When a network user or server administrator or the system itself requests for access to some features of the SAP Cybase ASE software that correspond to the set of functionalities embedded in the lcfep.exe file and its associated program files or modules, the lcfep.exe file runs in the background and calls on other program files and modules that are required to perform the set of requested operations.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. lcfep.exe. is used by SAP Cybase ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise), If you shut down lcfep.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop lcfep.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is SAP Cybase ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise), from your system.
