The launch32.exe process is an executable file that is associated with the other program files and modules used by the Microsoft Windows Systems Management Server (SMS) software, which is a deployment method or tool that is implemented into supported Windows-based client computers for implementing database client program support into the system. The Microsoft Windows Systems Management Server software executes the launch32.exe process whenever it needs to load other system resources and files in order to implement certain functionalities into the system of the client computer, and, upon activation, the launch32.exe process calls on other system files and references certain modular system resources to load the requested functionalities unto the system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. launch32.exe. is used by Microsoft Windows Systems Management Server (SMS), If you shut down launch32.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop launch32.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Microsoft Windows Systems Management Server (SMS), from your system.
