What is  lame.exe

LAME is a type of software developed for converting music files to the MP3 format, with the main executable file of lame.exe. This is the command line for the encoder to execute it on your Windows computer. There are two general versions of the file, one for the 32-bit Windows platform, and one for the 64-bit platform. It is arguably the most popular MP3 encoder today. The file has not been detected as a malicious file by any of the AV programs used by clients to scan the software. It has likewise never been mentioned as a file that was used by a cloaked malware to infect computer systems. It is therefore relatively safe to run the file on your system. Its most common file size is 202,240 bytes. Its typical location is in the Program Files folder of drive C. LAME package bundles generally contain the executable file, lame.exe, and the .dll file, which is mainly used for CD rippers.
