The issm.exe file is an EXE process component of the Intel Viiv software. This process is distributed alongside other executable program files, certain SYS driver utilities, some modular system and application-specific DLL (Dynamic Link Library) files, particular system and background process items among other resource components that are used and referenced by the firmware distributions and device driver software packages of certain motherboards integrated with Intel Core 2 processors that are embedded with Intel Viiv technology.
