The process termed as internet.exe, which is an executable or EXE file, is a component of the software product labeled as iXchange Internet Access or UnrealIRCd, which is produced or developed by Channel Enterprises (HK). Upon the installation of the program that houses the module, the internet.exe file is downloaded or added into the Windows registry and file folder, usually located in C:\Program Files, if not in C:\Documents and Settings, or C:\Windows. It is recommended to keep the internet.exe file remain running in the background of the system, regardless of the Microsoft Windows Operating System version used. Speaking of Windows operating system, or Windows OS, the internet.exe file runs in Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, or Windows ME, which is produced by Microsoft Corporation, that is designed on a desktop computer, laptop, or notebook.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. internet.exe. is used by iXchange Internet Access or UnrealIRCd, If you shut down internet.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop internet.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is iXchange Internet Access or UnrealIRCd, from your system.
