Network Monitor or Network Monitor for Intel Hub Connect Technology is the service name of the process intelhctagent.exe, which is an instance of an executable or EXE file, and is a component of the software product called Intel Hub Connect Technology, which is developed by Intel Corporation. The Intel Hub Connect Technology program is basically pre-installed on computers that have Intel Viiv Technology, as the component Network Monitor, or intelhctagent.exe, is used to simplify the task of setting up network devices that are approved. Not only that the intelhctagent.exe file is a basic component, but an essential module, since it is digitally signed from Intel(R) Viiv(TM) software - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer. Also, intelhctagent.exe is a Windows file, so it is downloadable in most versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems,including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. intelhctagent.exe. is used by Intel Hub Connect Technology, If you shut down intelhctagent.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
