The file that installs the program Intel Common User Interface is the executable igfxpers.exe. This application is used by graphics cards to execute their features. Although the file is most commonly associated with Intel, the file is used by Nvidia’s line of graphics cards. It provides users with options to configure graphic display and other settings. It has a default path of C:\Windows\System 32\igfxpers.exe. In laptops, the process executes naturally when an external monitor is attached to the laptop, which means display will automatically switch from your laptop screen to the external monitor. The file only uses about an average of 712 KB of private memory, and utilizes about 23.88 of virtual memory. Minimum working set memory averages at 2.93 MB. Total read operation is 3/min. and total write operation is 2/min. There are about 11 GDI Objects associated with the process. The file uses explorer.exe as its parent process. The file’s size is approximately 134.52 KB.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. igfxpers.exe. is used by Intel Common User Interface, If you shut down igfxpers.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop igfxpers.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Intel Common User Interface, from your system.
