Created by Microsoft, this process is always included in all versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems as its default or primary Internet browser. Its main purpose is to provide users with the ability to surf the Internet. This iexplorer.exe file is a flexible and versatile process as it allows users to set their personalized homepages and keep track of websites they commonly visit. This EXE file can also be used to save Internet surfing data and user activity with its readily available history application.
