The file termed as ieudinit.exe is known by its service name as IE Per User Active Setup Uninstall Utility, which is a part of the program Windows Internet Explorer, or Internet Explorer, including Internet Explorer 7 or IE7, and is a series of product software created by Microsoft Corporation. This file is a type of an executable module and a Windows process, and also digitally signed by Microsoft Windows – Microsoft Time-Stamp Service. With a digital signature, ieudinit.exe is not recommended to be deleted, stopped or terminated, as it can disable the software, which is Windows Internet Explorer, from working, especially that the file pertains to the uninstalling of the program. Therefore, keep the ieudinit.exe file stored on its folder location, usually in C:\Program Files, if not in C:\Documents and Settings, or C:\Windows. Once the software is downloaded, this file, together with other processes housed in it, is installed, and automatically runs in the background.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ieudinit.exe. is used by Windows Internet Explorer, If you shut down ieudinit.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ieudinit.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Windows Internet Explorer, from your system.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as Windows Internet Explorer, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some application require that they have processes running all the time so they can do things such as check for updates or notify you when you get an instant message. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
