Idechndr.sys is a storage driver file for Intel Application Accelerator Driver. It may also be called as IntelUltra ATA Storgae Driver. It is a part of Intel Ultra ATA Controller which is a product of Intel Corporation. Users may experience errors for this file when they upgrade their computers to the latest version. With updates in technology, Intel does not provide for the maintenance of this driver file. The Intel Application Accelerator is a software suite developed for Intel desktop and mobile computers. The idechndr.sys file allows the software to lessen system traffic. It enables the data to be delivered quickly from the hard drive to the processor and other system level hardware. The software is responsible in accelerating the disk I/O for games, graphics applications, disk utilities and media authoring applications.
