What is  iamserv.exe

The iamserv.exe is the executable component file of AtGuard, a personal Firewall developed by the WRQ Corporation. The AtGuard as a Firewall, works by filtering incoming and outgoing traffic from the Web browsers through Internet connection into the computer system and user’s private network. The main goal of the AtGuard Firewall is to protect the computer system from incoming packet of information that is flagged by the filters that are not allowed to get access to by the users. The iamserv.exe is an EXE file that is integrated into the system upon installing the AtGuard firewall software while operating as part of the small program services program and containing firewall-specific instructions to install the AtGuard firewall software unto the system, access the AtGuard Firewall User Interface (UI) and device the functionalities of the data backup and local/FTP placement through installing the iamserv.exe as service component application file of the program.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. iamserv.exe. is used by AtGuard, If you shut down iamserv.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
