The hzrcontroller.exe EXE process file is part of the Hazard Shield program, an open anti-spyware program developed for protection of the computer system against malicious spyware, backdoors, adware, Trojans, rootkits and other system threats. The program also schedules scans and automatic scans in real-time protection in preventing malicious programs to install in the system in the background. The hzrcontroller.exe and the other process component s and library file resources of the Hazard Shield program are incorporated in the system upon the installation of the Hazard Shield security program. The Hazard Shield also features automatic incremental updates for database; an Alternate Data Stream (ADS) scanner, file killer with security shredded, and full access to process modules and paths for process manager. The hzrcontroller.exe process helps in the loading of the Hazard Shield program into the system startup and its component resource files and component libraries such specifically the controller file application that are needed for the program to keep running in to the computer systems.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hzrcontroller.exe. is used by Hazard Shield, If you shut down hzrcontroller.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop hzrcontroller.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Hazard Shield, from your system.
