The process goskdl.dll is flagged to be a malware by a number of PC users. The file registers as a trojan to most antivirus software. The malware Is specifically categorized under Win32/Ceekat family which is a group of Trojans that can steal information, such as passwords, for online games. This family of Trojans can read information directly from the running processes in the system to do this. Different variants of Ceekat can target a variety of applications and not only limited to online games. There is no known symptoms reported to be connected with this malware. Other forms of Ceekat torjans can modify certain procedures hooked to the ‘send ‘and ‘sento ‘ actions in IE which can intercept the information sent. Consequently, the capture information will be sent into a remote server via HTTP POST. There are other forms of this trojan that can promote downloading of additional malwares into the system. The fiel goskdl.dll is flagged to be a high risk process presenting a serious security and privacy threat to the user.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. goskdl.dll. is used by PWS:Win32/Ceekat.gen!A and W32.Drom, If you shut down goskdl.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop goskdl.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is PWS:Win32/Ceekat.gen!A and W32.Drom, from your system.
