The file gompickerbho.dll, known as GOM Picker BHO, belongs to software GOM Picker by Gretech. GOM Picker is software tool that enables the user to play embedded flash videos from the Internet in GOM Media Player or download videos directly to the PC with just one clock. This BHO (Browser Helper Object0 currently works only with the Internet Explorer. This application is designed to work in conjunction with both GOM Media Player and GOM Video Converter so that the user can easily playback any downloaded video. It is designed to enhance the user's browsing experience and expand the functionality of the GOM Video Converter. GOM Picker does not download videos that are protected by digital copyright protection technologies, and cannot download live streams. The application can be uninstalled from the Windows control panel at any time, or the IE plugin can be disabled if the application is not in use.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gompickerbho.dll. is used by GOM Picker, If you shut down gompickerbho.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
