This software offers a complete Internet security solution that includes comprehensive virus checking, firewall protection, and spyware, adware, and popup protection. The application runs from the Taskbar, providing a main user interface, which is a tabbed window that enables the user to switch between each security category. The antivirus protection is selected by default, and provides excellent protection by utilizing a combination virus scan engine from Kaspersky and BitDefender. The virus checker and the related anti-spam tool blocks spam mails and new threats. Other features include a personal firewall that blocks malicious threats and user access to malicious or fraudulent websites, a WebFilter that blocks intrusive banners and popups, and a KidSafe content filter that blocks content for both Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gdndisic.sys. is used by G Data AntivirusKit InternetSeurity, If you shut down gdndisic.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
