The ftlnsop.exe file is known by the name Event MFC Application, or also called as Event Message Receiver/Reflector, which is used for Fujitsu Scanner Drivers, and a tool that is part of the software Fujitsu Scanner Utility, a product creation of PFU LIMITED. The ftlnsop.exe module is the launcher file of the Fujitsu Scanner Utility program. This means that ftlnsop.exe is the core file that enables the program to function. Without this file, the software is not going to work. Once Fujitsu Scanner Utility is downloaded on the computer system, the file, along with other processes bundled in it, is installed as well and located in a folder, usually in C:\Program Files or C:\Windows. It is also registered with FtLnSOP_setupas its run identifier, and execution command C:\WINDOWS\Twain_32\Fjscan32\SOP\FtLnSOP.exe in the registry which is HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. If a user has to use Fujitsu Scanner Utility, the ftlnsop.exe file begins to process itself and provides all the functions it requires.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ftlnsop.exe. is used by Fujitsu Scanner Utility, If you shut down ftlnsop.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ftlnsop.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Fujitsu Scanner Utility, from your system.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as Fujitsu Scanner Utility, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
