The documents in the password-protected folder cannot be viewed, printed, or altered by other people unless they use the password that opens the folder. Once the program is installed in the computer, password protection is enabled with just one click within the Windows Explorer. This is a cost effective solution to maintain document confidentiality in shared computer use. The locking mechanism in Folder Password Expert is difficult to break, even with administrator rights to the computer since the correct password is required before the folder is opened. This software supports the use of USB external and removable drives. It is available for download for a 30-day trial period to enable the user to evaluate its performance before purchasing the software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fpplock.exe. is used by Folder Password Expert, If you shut down fpplock.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fpplock.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Folder Password Expert, from your system.
