It can copy copy-protected CDs, read audio files from scratched CDs and recover errors, normalize and compress volume, fade in/out, rip and encode CDs with multithreaded buffering, delete silence at the beginning and end of song, read CD text and upload/download disc information from freedb, an Internet compact disc database.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ezcddax.dll. is used by Easy CD-DA Extractor, If you shut down ezcddax.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
