The evntsvc.exe file is an executable process that belongs to the software called RealOne Player, and the RealNetworks Scheduler applet that is bundled with the RealOne Player among other applications from RealNetworks uses the evntsvc.exe process. The content of the evntsvc.exe process includes program logic data that is compiled using source code compilation specifications usually implemented into program logic content stored in the EXE format. The RealNetworks Scheduler applet of the RealOne Player program and the evntsvc.exe process are responsible for the scheduling features integrated into the RealOne Player software. The RealOne Player application and the RealNetworks Scheduler applet along with the evntsvc.exe process are implemented with compatibility support for widely used versions of Microsoft Windows.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. evntsvc.exe. is used by RealNetworks Scheduler and RealOne Player, If you shut down evntsvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop evntsvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is RealNetworks Scheduler and RealOne Player, from your system.
