The file etcontextmenu.dll, known as East-Tec Eraser, belongs to software East-Tec Eraser (version 2007, version 2008, version 2006) from East Technologies. East-Tec Eraser is privacy protection software that protects the user's personal data, and offline and online privacy by erasing all files that store evidence of computer and Internet activities. The files that are automatically saved in Windows and Internet cache saved or logged in the PC can be deleted from the system effectively with East-Tec Eraser to protect the privacy and security of the user. The feature Erase Beyond Recovery makes sure that all deleted files are completely erased by using secure data erasing methods and complex algorithms that will completely destroy all confidential information. The East-Tec Eraser securely deletes all Internet history, visited Web pages and images, cookies, and other information that are saved in temporary Internet files or cache. It also erases data from files that are previously deleted from Windows.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. etcontextmenu.dll. is used by East-Tec Eraser, If you shut down etcontextmenu.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
