The file eprompter.exe, known as ePrompter, belongs to software ePrompter by Tiburon Technology. The ePrompter version 3.0 application automatically and simultaneously checks and retrieves the email messages of the user for up to sixteen password-protected email accounts, and issues a notification when new messages are received. The email notification specifies the number of new messages in each email account once the new messages have been retrieved. This application enables users to delete and respond to any new message with a simple click on the chosen account, without having to launch the email program or go to the webmail site. EPrompter leaves the original email messages on the various email accounts' servers or webmail sites when it retrieves the messages. It also allows the user to delete unwanted spam or suspicious looking mail, without going to the webmail site or opening the email account. This application supports AOL, AIM, Yahoo, MSN, GMail, HotMail, POP3, IMAP, and many other email domains.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. eprompter.exe. is used by eprompter, If you shut down eprompter.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop eprompter.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is eprompter, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.
