The file epibsr20.exe, known as EPIBSR20, belongs to software Epson Color Printing from Seiko Epson Corp. The Epson core printing technology that is enabled by software Epson Color Printing is based on Epson Micro Piezo technology that uses high precision mechanical pumps in the print heads to produce ink droplets that are delivered into the paper with no heat involved. It is a mechanical method that produces precise electrical pulses that cause the ink reservoir wall to deflect inward, projecting ink to the nozzle. The Micro Piezo printing technology from Epson results in consistent ink droplets without unwanted ink spray or misting. The Epson color printers also employ the Variable Size Droplet technology where the printers produce a number of different ink droplet sizes that can be combined to achieve more tone representations. The smallest ink droplets can be used in the low density or highlight areas, which reduce the visibility of printed dots.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. epibsr20.exe. is used by Epson Color Printing, If you shut down epibsr20.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop epibsr20.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Epson Color Printing, from your system.
