The USB Device Lower Filter or EM27XX USB2.0 Camera Controller is the lower filter driver in Windows that sees IRPs (I/O Request Packets) that the function driver is trying to send to the bus driver. It is the driver for the PC Camera Controller, which is a solution for USB 2.0 PC Camera application. The USB 2.0 PC Camera Controller can be employed for video conferencing and for video mails, and supports embedded notebook camera and projector. It supports bulk and ISO modes, UAC and UVC, and customized PID, VID and Vendor string. Other included features are dead pixel compensation, anti-noise low pass filter, low temperature and low power consumption, and provides both EEPROM and serial flash interfaces.
