The ehshell.exe process is also known as the Media Center and it belongs to the Microsoft Windows Operating System and owned by Microsoft Corporation. It supplies most of its functionalities for the Microsoft Media Center. This process is a non-essential and non-system process. This means that the process can be enabled or disabled by the user according to his or her liking. The process is a Windows core system file, but it has no visible window. It is a Microsoft signed file. It has a technical security rating of 0% dangerous making it absolutely safe to operate within the user’s computer system. However, since the process is an executable file, it is vulnerable to be taken and be written off as a virus and users should be wary of the potentiality that the software is a shady virus and protect him or herself from it. It is considered to be useful by users and may provide convenience when being operated. It should not be terminated.
