What is  egmulhxk.dll

The Direct Link Library (DLL) file egmulhxk.dll is a browser helper object (BHO) that functions as Windows Explorer CD-ROM optimizer. The file egmulhxk.dll enables the use of Windows Explorer to optimize full-screen mode for CD-DOM titles by clicking on the right mouse button and selecting properties. If settings are displayed when the Screen tab is selected, it means that Windows has automatically set the program to run in a full-screen mode. Both Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer are able to load BHOs, which are minimal extensibility points into both the shell and the browser. It adds functionality to the Explorer and allows extensions to sync to events and react accordingly. The BHO in Windows Explorer is a new instance that is launched for each window, while for Internet Explorer, most BHOs are loaded once by each new instance. BHOs are supported by Microsoft Windows Explorer in Microsoft Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows 95 and Windows NT version 4.0 operating system with Active Desktop Shell Update.
