This cleaner or eraser program deletes protects the privacy of the user by deleting Web-surfing tracks and caches from internet browsers such as the Opera, Internet Explorer and Netscape, including common areas of Windows and other hidden information from the hard drive. It cleans browsing and downloads history by overwriting previously allocated disk space, which makes salvaging of deleted information more difficult. Overwriting is an important feature of this software since some deleted information can remain in the hard drive until that physical space has been used. Evidence Eliminator can remove hard drive information such as temporary files, registry backup, application logs, Windows SWAP file, start menu run history, order data, click history and Windows Media Player history and playlists that are stored in the library. The program features a simple and intuitive user interface, is entirely customizable, and can be operated in the stealth mode.
