What is  eapsvc.dll

The background process eapsvc.dll is also referred to as Microsoft Extensible Authentication Protocol EAPHost Service and it supports the Microsoft Windows Operating System developed by Microsoft Corporation. This file is a dynamic link library (DLL) file that runs as a support for EAPHost Service of the operating system. It runs along with other dll files such as Ole32.dll and Ntdll.dll among others. The main function of this dll file is to provide authentication for the computer when connecting to an internet connection. This is a core component of the Microsoft Windows Operating System and should not be removed or disabled. The file is located inside the System 32 subfolder of the Windows folder inside the local drive directory. File size for eapsvc.dll is approximately 33 KB.
