The executable process file duc20.exe belongs to No-IP Dynamic IP Client and is identified to be as No-IP.com DUC that is part of the software DUC and http://www.no-ip.com provided service as developed by the Vitalwerks, LLC. It is a Dynamic DNS Client which is described to be an IP posting software that keeps No-IP’s dynamic nameserver (DNS) up to date if the computer’s dynamic IP-add shift so that the user can run servers on the computer with dynamic IP. No-IP DUC can run at startup which has several functions including that of having the ability to automatically update the dynamic IP address for the users DNS account at no-ip.com, utilize websites that have it IP change every now and then, and have access to remote computer by assigning a completely different and qualified domain name to the remote computer’s dynamic IP address. The process file also has the capacity to change IP into an ftp://name.net! Usage=to easily find local webserver or local ftp server. The process file requires an Internet to connect to the No-IP servers and change IP configuration.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. duc20.exe. is used by No-IP.com DUC, If you shut down duc20.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop duc20.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is No-IP.com DUC, from your system.
