Called as DS1410D, the filename ds1410d.sys is a process, which is an instance of a driver or SYS file, is a part of the software product 1-Wire Drivers, also DS1410D, which is developed by Dallas Semiconductor MAXIM. This driver file is downloaded onto the computer during the installation process of the program that houses it, and because it is digitally signed from Dallas Semiconductor Maxim - GlobalSign Time Stamping Authority, ds1410d.sys is considered to be essential, which means it has to remain running in the background. Other than that, ds1410d.sys is a Windows process, or in other words, works with most versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, also known as Windows operating systems, or simply Windows OS, including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME, which are developed by Microsoft Corporation.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ds1410d.sys. is used by DS1410D or 1-Wire Drivers, If you shut down ds1410d.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
