The drvupdater.exe file is an executable process that is saved in the EXE format. This file contains program logic directives, instructions and commands implemented with data encoding specifications and source code compilation standards for storing source code data that will be used in supported Microsoft Windows systems. The drvupdater.exe process is packaged as the dispatcher executable of DRP Su Updater, which is an application that comes bundled with the firmware and driver software resources of certain supported hardware components. The drvupdater.exe file launches the DRP Su Updater application upon activation, and this program facilitates the installation of the driver software and firmware resources of certain hardware devices as well as its driver updates and firmware upgrades.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. drvupdater.exe. is used by DRP Su Updater, If you shut down drvupdater.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop drvupdater.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is DRP Su Updater, from your system.
