The drvmon.exe process and the Drive Monitor application are packaged with the driver and firmware resources of certain motherboards that have built-in Alcor Micro chipsets. The drvmon.exe process is an executable file that is integrated with data encoding specifications and source code compilation standards used for content stored in the EXE format. This is because the content of the drvmon.exe file includes program logic data, application-specific instructions and modular resource directives that are used by the Drive Monitor software to carry out certain functionalities embedded in this application.
