The process called dmserver.dll, which is known by the service name Logical Disk Manager service dll, is an instance of an executable or EXE file, and is a component of the software product Logical Disk Manager for Windows NT, which is developed by Microsoft Corporation. The dmserver.dll file is also not just a basic part, but an essential process, because it has a digital signature (Microsoft Windows Publisher - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer). Like other files, dmserver.dll is compatible with Microsoft Windows Operating System, or most commonly known as Windows operating system, or sometimes Windows OS, but this file only runs in a particular OS, which is Windows NT. Once the program, including its components, like dmserver.dll, is downloaded onto the computer, stored on a file folder location, registered into the Windows registry, and automatically run in the background.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. dmserver.dll. is used by Logical Disk Manager for Windows NT, If you shut down dmserver.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop dmserver.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Logical Disk Manager for Windows NT, from your system.
