What is  dmio.sys

The dmio.sys file is known as NT Disk Manager I/O Driver as its service name, and a component of the program Logical Disk Manager Driver, also referred to as VERITAS NT Disk Manager, which is a product created by Microsoft Corp. Veritas Software. Logical Disk Manager Driver or VERITAS NT Disk Manager is a program that is compatible with Windows XP only. The Windows process dmio.sys is a type of kernel driver that is usually configured during its startup, but depends on the hardware, which typically means that changing the startup configuration can cause problems, and eventually disable the software from working. In addition, this file must be kept running in the background, once it begins to automatically launch during startup of the Windows, or even during manual execution. Stopping the dmio.sys file may not only disable its function within the software, but also hinder the execution of other processes or modules that rely on it.
