DLNA allows home networks to access and play media files on any DLNA-capable device, i.e. laptop, desktop, and smartphone. The file dlnaplugin.exe is part of the software to run and install Belkin Setup and Router Monitor. The plug-in application is compatible with Windows-run computers. Online systems analyzers and checkers found no vulnerabilities with the program and is considered safe to leave on the computer. The application allows users to simultaneously play movies and audio files on different devices that run on home networks. No in-depth analyses or information of the program itself can be found, except for information from a number of users who experienced issues with their Windows processes which, as some computer experts suggested, could be due to incomplete installation of the software; or registry keys being mistakenly deleted. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. dlnaplugin.exe. is used by Belkin Setup and Router Monitor, If you shut down dlnaplugin.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
