The process dlbxtime.dll, referred to as the Timer DLL, is a process that relates to the use of Lexmark printers and scanners. The modules contained in this DLL file support the functionality of the Lexmark printer and scanner when a user executes a printing or scanning command. The Timer DLL contains the codes and data that are accessed by the operating system in order to communicate with the Lexmark printer and scanner. The functionality of the printer/ scanner is dependent on the availability of the Timer DLL files and if this dependency is broken, the device will not execute printing or scanning commands. DLL conflicts may arise if the dependent DLL is upgraded to a new version, overwritten with another version, or deleted from the computer. It is not advisable for users of Lexmark printers and scanners to open this file since direct user interaction with DLL files can cause some problems with the program execution.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. dlbxtime.dll. is used by Timer DLL, If you shut down dlbxtime.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop dlbxtime.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Timer DLL, from your system.
