The executable or EXE process termed as ditto.exe is known as Ditto, which is a component of the software product called Ditto. The program Ditto is a type of full-featured and network enabled clipboard manager application, which is designed to allow a user save items copied to the clipboard, and then send them for sharing to other users through network connectivity. This program lets a user assign hotkeys in selecting items that must be coped and sent or shared by either double clicking them or dragging and dropping. As an instance of a Windows file and digitally signed process (Ditto - COMODO Time Stamping Signer), ditto.exe runs mostly in different versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems,including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ditto.exe. is used by Ditto, If you shut down ditto.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ditto.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Ditto, from your system.
