Credential Provider, or Password Courier DIRECT! for Win32, direct.exe is a component of the program Enterprise Provisioning Suite, or DIRECT! Access Option, or Identity Management Suite, or Direct Identity Management, which is produced by Courion Corporation. This file has a digital signature (VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2) by the same manufacturing company, Courion Corporation, and because it is digitally signed, it is recommended to keep it running in the background. Once the software is downloaded onto the computer, all of the components, which include direct.exe, especially that it is a core component, are stored on a folder location, registered into the Windows registry, and automatically run as a background module. This particular file may also have the task to execute other processes bundled within the program.
