What is  desktop.exe

Basically called as Desktop Search, the desktop.exe file is a part of 4shared Desktop, a program developed by 4Shared.com for Windows, Mac and Linux computers. 4shared Desktop is used to allow a user upload numerous files, from photos to documents and audios to videos, to his or her personal 4Shared account in a less time-consuming process. It helps a user saves time in uploading all files or data he or she wants to save in his or her account. Aside from multiple file uploading, this application also provides other features for downloading, printing and sharing. A user can set up his or her privacy setting too, whether files uploaded are publicly or privately shared. As the Desktop Search, desktop.exe is responsible in assisting the user to search for any files or data stored in his or her 4Shared account. This is another easy and quick way of finding any data needed to search for viewing, sharing, emailing, printing or downloading.
