The datamngr.dll file is part of the Searchqu Toolbar software from Koyote-Lab Inc. The file is generally installed through various software programs that you can download for free from the Internet. The toolbar is added to your Web browser, whether it is Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox or something else. The part that users find annoying is that the software automatically sets your browser homepage to searchnu.com. Users also find it annoying that the browser homepage is still set to searchnu.com even after the datamngr.dll file has been disabled. There were reports that the software and the file cannot be uninstalled completely. Overall, users had to use anti-malware programs and use several other steps before completely ridding the system of the software and the file. The file’s general path is C:\Program Files\Searchqu Toolbar\Datamngr\datamngr.dll. Approximate file size is 1.67 MB. The file loads through the executable iexplore.exe which is Internet Explorer for Windows. Total CPU utilization is 0.0006830617%.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. datamngr.dll. is used by Data Manager, If you shut down datamngr.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop datamngr.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Data Manager, from your system.
