What is ctsrvr.exe
The process ctsrvr.exe is reported to be part of the FairCom Server software or Atlas. EXE files, or executable files, are used by the computer to execute designated tasks according to encoded instructions. These files are also used to install and initiate programs and routines. When an EXE file is selected, it executes code contained within the file. EXE files only run in Microsoft Windows because the code is executed by the operating system and must be compiled in the format it can understand. Executable files cannot be read by humans, unlike data or source files, as they are created from code that is written in compiled programming language, and are called Compiled Programs, that enables a computer to run and understand the program. The two types of executable files are namely, Compiled programs and Scripts. Scripts do not contain executable machine code and exist in plain text format instead of binary format.
How can I stop ctsrvr.exe and should I?
Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ctsrvr.exe. is used by FairCom Server Atlas, If you shut down ctsrvr.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
