The cspep.exe file is an executable component process of the GaBi software, which is a Windows program classified as a developer tool with a set of features for deploying LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) functionalities, and for configuring LCA databases that can be used for storing simulated environmental data of products and processes. The details stored in the LCA databases of the GaBi software can be used by process consultants, product manufacturers and Q/A specialists for improving the environmental applications and market sustainability of a company's production systems and consumer products. The cspep.exe process is specifically implemented into the Windows-based system by the GaBi software to assist in the integration of its core features. Upon the installation of the GaBi software in a Windows-based computer, the cspep.exe process and other component files among various resource libraries are placed in the system, in order to aid the GaBi software in deploying this application's embedded LCA database options and LCA simulation features.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cspep.exe. is used by GaBi, If you shut down cspep.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cspep.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is GaBi, from your system.
