What is  csbb.dll

The csbb.dll file has been reported by many users as a malicious BHO (Browser Helper Object) application flagged by their anti-malware tools as a variant of the ClearSearch program, which is a family of spyware applications distributed as Web browser hijackers and malicious BHOs. The ClearSearch spyware has been reported to infect unprotected Windows-based systems with missing OS security certificates, outdated Web browsers, unencrypted TCP/IP network ports and an unsecured Windows System Registry. These users claim that the csbb.dll spyware is capable of automatically initializing whenever the compromised Web browser is loaded unto the system, and the Windows OS is said to allow the csbb.dll spyware to do this because of certain registry strings that the csbb.dll spyware is said to create and inject into the unsecured Windows System Registry upon its successful placement and activation in the unprotected Windows-based computer. These users also claim that the csbb.dll spyware is capable of exploiting unencrypted TCP/IP network ports, especially if the system has missing OS security certificates or is unprotected by any anti-malware program. The csbb.dll malware is said to use these exploited system vulnerabilities to transmit private user details and Internet surfing information secretly collected from the infected system and its installed Web browsers to predesignated remote servers that are managed by the authors of the csbb.dll spyware.
