The crestarter.exe file is an executable component process of the InterCafe software, which is a Windows program classified as a network management application. The InterCafe software can be used by system and network administrators of Internet cafes or computer shops for implementing time-based monitoring and billing protocols into client computers. The InterCafe program also integrates user management options that can prevent unauthorized access to client and server systems, and can be used to deploy policy settings as client-based or global-wide network configurations, in order to block local and remote users without administrator privileges from integrating changes to system settings and configurations of Windows-based client and server computers that are connected to the network. The crestarter.exe process is specifically placed in the client system upon the installation, configuration and deployment of the InterCafe software (version 2004) across the client and server systems of the network, in order for the crestarter.exe process to assist the InterCafe software in implementing its client/server network management functionalities, security protocols and time-based monitoring and billing applications.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. crestarter.exe. is used by InterCafe 2004, If you shut down crestarter.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop crestarter.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is InterCafe 2004, from your system.
