The cpdesrvu.exe process is an executable component file of the firmware utilities and driver software resources that are packaged with Creative Nomad Jukebox devices, which are external digital audio players that were developed by Creative Technology for Windows-based computers. These Creative Nomad Jukebox players are equipped with USB 2.0 connectivity support and bundled with the Creative MediaSource software, which is a digital audio player designed with a set of features for playing and organizing media files transferred to and from the Windows-based system and the Creative Nomad Jukebox device. The cpdesrvu.exe process is specifically deployed as the executable program dispatcher file of the Personal Media Storage Server application, which is a small program built into the Creative MediaSource software, and this application assists the Creative MediaSource software in integrating its digital media content storage functionalities for transferring files and folders to and from the Windows-based computer's external and internal data storage disks and the Creative Nomad Jukebox device.
