The context.dll file is a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) module that is integrated into the system by the AVG Anti-Spyware software, which is a Windows program classified as a system security tool with a set of features for monitoring the system and detecting potentially harmful code like spyware applications, malicious BHOs (Browser Helper Objects), obtrusive adware components, Web browser hijackers and other malware items, in order to block these malicious applications and protect the Windows-based computer against possible hacker attacks, data security threats, user privacy risks, system stability issues and data loss or corruption that may be caused by these malware items. The context.dll module is specifically deployed into the system by the AVG Anti-Spyware software as the Context-Menu (Shell Extension) library, which is referenced by the AVG Anti-Spyware program to assist in the implementation of its context menu and control panel option functionalities into this application's UI (User Interface) and the Windows Explorer shell. The context.dll file is placed in the system upon the installation of the AVG Anti-Spyware software, which is distributed as a free application.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. context.dll. is used by AVG Anti-Spyware and Context-Menu (Shell Extension) Library, If you shut down context.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop context.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is AVG Anti-Spyware and Context-Menu (Shell Extension) Library, from your system.
