The consctl.exe process is an executable file that is implemented into the system by the eScan software, which is a Windows program classified as a system security tool that was developed by MicroWorld Technologies with a set of features for monitoring the system, detecting and blocking potential viruses, backdoor rootkits, Trojans, worms, spyware applications and other malicious applications, in order to protect Windows-based computers against possible hacker attacks, data security threats, user privacy risks, system stability issues and data loss or corruption. The consctl.exe process is specifically deployed into the system by the eScan software as the executable dispatcher file of the eScan Application Blocker program, which is a small application built into the eScan software, and this program assists in the integration of the threat monitoring, malware detection and malware code blocking functionalities of the eScan application into the Windows-based system. The consctl.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the eScan Application Blocker program, which is in turn integrated into the system during the installation process for the eScan software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. consctl.exe. is used by MicroWorld Technologies eScan and eScan Application Blocker Program, If you shut down consctl.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop consctl.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is MicroWorld Technologies eScan and eScan Application Blocker Program, from your system.
