What is  cnvfat32.dll

According to many user reports, the cnvfat32.dll file has been flagged by widely used anti-malware tools as a malicious program associated with the TROJ_TRACUR.BS program, which is a family of Trojans known to infect unprotected Windows-based systems with unencrypted TCP/IP network ports and outdated Web browsers. Other users claim that their system security tools classify the cnvfat32.dll file as a component or variant of the Trojan.Gen application, which is another family of Trojans. In both cases, the cnvfat32.dll file is said to be capable of hijacking outdated Web browsers, in order to redirect users to websites that are managed by the authors of this malware while browsing the Internet, and some users reported that the cnvfat32.dll file is capable of exploiting unencrypted TCP/IP network ports of the infected system, in order to initiate contact with predesignated remote servers and download more malicious applications unto the system from those remote servers, which are operated and managed by the authors of the cnvfat32.dll malware.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cnvfat32.dll. is used by TROJ_TRACUR.BS and Trojan.Gen, If you shut down cnvfat32.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
