The Canon Advanced Printing Technology (CAPT) RPC Server application is activated by the cnac4rpk.exe file, which is an executable process that runs in the background while the associated Canon printer or AIO (All-In-One) machine is actively being used by a client system that is locally or remotely connected to the same network where the Canon printing device or AIO equipment is configured as a network hardware tool. This means the cnac4rpk.exe process and the CAPT RPC Server application are deployed to assist in implementing the local and remote network printing functionalities of the compatible Canon printer or AIO machine. The Canon Advanced Printing Technology suite of applications integrate the cnac4rpk.exe process and the CAPT RPC Server application into the Windows-based computer, alongside the firmware components and device driver software utilities that are used by the Windows-based system and the Canon printer or AIO device to communicate with each other and correctly implement the features of these devices as requested by the user.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cnac4rpk.exe. is used by Canon Advanced Printing Technology and CAPT RPC Server Application, If you shut down cnac4rpk.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cnac4rpk.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Canon Advanced Printing Technology and CAPT RPC Server Application, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.
