What is ckvo1.dll
Many users claim that their system security tools flag the ckvo1.dll file as a variant of the Infostealer.Gampass program, which is a family of Trojans with spyware-like functionalities. Other users state that their anti-malware applications classify the ckvo1.dll file as a component of the W32.Gammima.AG program, which is another family of Trojans. In both instances, these users reported that the ckvo1.dll file is just disguised as a legitimate DLL (Dynamic Link Library) module, but is actually an executable application process that can automatically run during system startup and operate as a hidden background process during system runtime. Some of these users state that the ckvo1.dll file is capable of creating and injecting keys and entries into the Windows System Registry upon its successful placement and activation in the Windows-based system, and these registry keys and entries are said to instruct the system to allow the ckvo1.dll file to automatically initialize during system startup. The ckvo1.dll file, according to these users, is said to be capable of exploiting unprotected TCP/IP network ports, in order to download more malware items from predesignated Web servers that are managed by its authors, hence the reason why their system security tools classify the ckvo1.dll file as a Trojan. As a spyware, the ckvo1.dll file is said to be capable of covertly gathering private user details and Internet surfing information from the infected system and its default Web browser, and this data is said to be transmitted to the remote servers of its authors.
